“The biggest challenge with writing the new CD was, simply, finding the time. Between school, work, sports, homework, diner time, laundry, and everything else, when it came to writing together, we really had to draw from what we know….which is exactly those things, those day-to-day experiences that make up a family.” -Ellen
“We always aim to write songs that the parents will like, but that their kids can relate to. So we tap into our influences like the super hits of the 60’s and 70’s and infusing the do it yourself esthetics and attitude of 80’s & 90’s punk and indie rock. We’ve discovered through our experience that music can really bring families together.”- Matt
