MA YOGA teachers come from different backgrounds, and combine yoga principles with what they’ve found to be helpful in their own lives. We create a safe and playful class atmosphere in which women can explore their connection to their bodies and their babies in new, enjoyable and empowering ways.
Our teachers have been inspired by the Anusara philosophy of learning to “skillfully move in the current of the heart,” and we continue to study and practice ways of applying this philosophy in our lives to find more freedom, steadiness, and joy. We also continue studying and practicing the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment, which helps on a biomechanical level reduce pain and deepen our connection to innate strength.
Prenatal Yoga: Some women start the moment they find out they’re pregnant, others wait until they can get p off the couch... MA YOGA teachers incorporate the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment to help get rid of aches and pains and increase strength and freedom safely at ANY TIME of pregnancy. Partners are welcome to attend.
Mommy Yoga + Baby: Yoga for new moms means practicing in between feeds and changes. Come do what you can and enjoy some time with your breath, your baby and other moms. Come until they’re rawling.
